Rev. Dr. Denton Lotz, Dr. Theol.

Rev. Dr. Denton Lotz serves as pastor of Tremont Temple. Dr. Lotz was an American Baptist missionary to Eastern Europe, during the Soviet period. Previous to coming to Tremont Temple, he served as General Secretary of the Baptist World Alliance, an alliance of 215 Baptist conventions worldwide, representing the international community of 110 million Baptists.
 
Dr. Lotz’s theological degrees are from Harvard Divinity School, and a doctorate from the University of Hamburg in Germany. He has been awarded 8 honorary doctorates and currently serves as President of the International Religious Liberty Association, and also serves on the board of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
 
His wife, Janice, is a hospital chaplain. They are parents of three children and eleven grandchildren. His two sons are Baptist pastors.
 
 
 
 
Rev. Dr. Eleftheria Sidiropoulou, LMHC, LMFT, DMin
Dr. Sidiropoulou has been serving at Tremont Temple for 40+ years, currently as the Minister of Counseling as well as the Executive Director of Boston Christian Counseling Center. She is certified by the American association of pastoral counselors as a Fellow and licensed as a clinical member and supervisor with AAMFT, LMHC supervisor and certified supervisor with ACPE. Previously, Dr. Sidiropoulou served for twenty years (1982-2002) as a commissioned chaplain of the U.S. Air Force, Lt. Col. She also is an adjunct professor at Andover Newton Theological Seminary.
 
 
 
 
Rev. Maria Lucrecia Rodriguez, M.Div.                              

Maria Lucrecia Rodriguez has been serving at Tremont Temple since 2007. Born in Guatemala City, she received her college education at Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, where she studied Law. Lucrecia traveled to Boston in 2004 pursuing graduate studies at University of Massachusetts Boston where she received a certificate from the program for Women in Politics and Public Policy. Feeling called to ministry she pursued studies at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, Boston Campus, receiving her Master of Divinity in Urban Ministry Concentration. Currently she serves as the Director of Children and Youth Ministry and Christian Education. She has a passion for Social Justice and loves Jesus.

 

Rev. Dr. Geoffrey Dana Hicks, D.Min.

Rev. Dr. Geoffrey Dana Hicks serves as the Director of Music at Tremont Temple. Pianist, composer, performer, lecturer, recording artist, arranger and conductor, Rev. Hicks is a musician of many talents. Hicks is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music (BM in composition, ‘76), the University of Massachusetts (MM in conducting, ‘83), and Andover Newton Theological School (M. Div., ‘88), and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Doctorate in Ministry, '09).
